Simon Bode was born in 1976, and studied at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Cologne with his examination in 2004 and graduation in 2005. Since then he is mainly working as an otolaryngologist and head & neck surgeon.

Simon has always been interested in visual and acoustical aesthetics, fascinated by the opportunities of digital photography, he mainly uses a digital slr, but sometimes the Leica m is the only which works.

His favorite theme is the human being in his direct surrounding; the environmental portrait.
