Hilary is a graduate of the National Art School, Sydney, Australia
and has worked in animation, children’s book illustration, design and sculpture in addition to painting.
Her inspiration comes from observation of the human condition, a personal response to the landscape and the playfulness of abstraction.

Pollock's paintings reflect a playfulness culled from Nature. The forms seem to have grown and evolved on the canvas instead of having been placed there. Living things that seem to belong naturally to their environment. Their dynamic quality indicate an evolution in process and not a static depiction. A depth is created with delicate handling and blending of color tones, shading and transparency. An exquisite unity within the picture plane where all the elements are in their place and harmony reigns.
