Brian Richmond is a painter from Chester County, Pennsylvania. He describes his work as color field landscapes broken up with chunks of textures which creates an abstracted ambiguous image.

Brian received his Bachelors of Fine Arts at the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design in Lancaster PA. Since graduating he has participated in many group shows and has had solo exhibitions at Monsoon Galleries Bethlehem PA and the AFIF Gallery Philadelphia PA. He has also received a number of awards for his work including 2nd place for Red Abstractions from online gallery Artrom, Rome Italy.

For the past seven years Brian has spent a great deal of time in Ireland traveling and developing his work. When asked about his work he says, "I feel my work is a constant self-indulgent exploration of the oil paint medium mixed with my differing emotions which creates an ambiguously summarized image".
