Rhea (Bruria) Carmi, in the last 27 years, has produced a voluminous, and impressive amount of work. These works have to do with, as if it could be different, overcoming brutality, the absurdity of war, the dryness, sterility and cruelty of  human nature, as well as the tolerance of pain.

Her works, on the theme “Humanity’s Struggles” can now be seen in Hamburg. During this fight for existence, Rhea Carmi exposes herself through the artistic process. She passionately fights for this: to illustrate in her art the knowledge and the wisdom acquired in her life, through matter, color, structure and stratification. It is the sprit of hope and trust that strikes one when viewing her works. Rhea Carmi has worked in Israele, Europe, Australia, New York, Los Angeles and is now exhibiting in Hamburg.
