Mariagrazia Dardanelli dances with the invisible, she photographs that which is not seen but sensed.

From one simple source of light she can bring forth a mirad of forms, gradients of colors and textures. As she moves in the dark with her digital camera and with hard earned experience she begins to compose her works with the movements of her hands documenting hidden beauty of the mysterious signs of light.

Just as a photograph of a lightening bolt is instant and unique, so too are the photos of Dardanelli which have blocked a fleeting moment and captured from the beauty of light, the momentary luminous vibrations of an unkown source.
