"Like a painting taking shape on canvas, the path one will follow through life isn’t always obvious at first."
Charlotte's journey towards becoming an artist began one summer day while sitting at the Park of Roses, soaking up sights and smells when she decided to do something she had never done before—paint. Putting the first swish of color on paper the magic began. That summer day would be her first step down a new path. In painting she felt liberated, lost her inhibitions and soared to a new place, exhilarated and deeply satisfied.
Years later a serendipitous trip took Charlotte to the southwestern mecca of Taos, N.M., where she once again reveled in art. Looking at it, talking about it, reading about it, writing about it, and finally putting paint on canvas once again. This created a true sense of committment to being an artist. Her journey continues . . . . . All she can say is , “I am an artist.”
