Tom Paun works are considered some of the finest original oil paintings and still life in the style and technique of the old Dutch masters but waved with subtle surrealism, metaphors and symbolism. 

TOMislav PAUNkovic was born in 1952 near Belgrad/Serbia and started oil painting at the age of 16.  In 1979 he acquired a second home in Jungholz, an Austrian tourism village surrounded by Bavaria, where he works as an artist/painter. In Serbia he lives in Bad Gamzigrad near by the famous Roman excavations of Felix Romuliana, the  palace of the emperor Galerius.

Paun studied at the University of Art/Belgrad, worked as a designer of porcelain and restored frescos and paintings in the churches of his homeland. He also attended study visits to Netherlands, France, Italy, Germany.

Tom Paun's works are held in many private/public collections and some museums. Since 1971 he had exhibitied inmore than 50 solo exhibits/400 group exhibits
